We Shall Not Be Moved
A collage of trees....seen on our walk at Kelsey Creek Park in Bellevue....a farm but with access to the barn and trails up to it closed off for now...Covid 19 rules. But many open surrounding trails and easy to distance from others...most wearing masks which was good to see. I grew up in a family of arborists so trees have always been important to me..thers were woods all around us in those days...to explore , to play, to be creative and to restore oneself even at an early age they do just that. So an homage paid here to the strengrth of trees....their trunks and craggly bumps and deep roots that lead to remind me of the song. so appropriate for now...We Shall Not Be Moved
I found the link to Trevor Noah's on Kendal's blip the other day and I'm posting it here because I think it really will help explain some things for White people questioning what it going on now.....
"Trevor shares his thoughts on the killing of George Floyd, the protests in Minneapolis, the dominos of racial injustice and police brutality, and how the contract between society and black Americans has been broken time and time again." here
