It may well burn off
More fabulous weather.
Though from viewed up the slope at 10am, it was clear there was a band of haar lying right down the Forth, with the high points of Fifeshire just occasionally visible. See photo!
OK, enough excitement, I trotted over to the boatyard and got three things accomplished - a new electrical through deck fitting fitted, the switches all back into order including more (successful!) soldering and best of all, the relocation of the engine-off pull thingy to somewhere actually accessible. Not long after arriving, the haar swept in across the harbour, but then, just as magically, disappeared.
Back to lounge, read, and sun. It’s like Mallorca, so it is.
What covid news? Basically, it’s going away, or something (is that right?) and is largely in care homes, and more scarily, in hospitals. Some say we’ll be in for a second wave unless we rigorously stick to our lockdown rules. Well, I guess we’ll see, but as neither Sweden nor Japan have locked down you’d expect Stockholm by now to be a morgue and Greater Tokyo (population 38 million) a necropolis. Enough said. Don’t worry, I’ll bring my own cutlery.
