York Minster Quiet

Had to go into York today to get the car fixed.  Whilst I was waiting I had a look around the city (not allowed to wait in the showroom) and it is still eerily quiet.  Normally at this time of year it is packed with shoppers and tourists - mainly tourists.  There are usually queues waiting to get in the Minster, but now, of course, nothing.  At least the Minster gardens were open and so I was able to sit there and contemplate the incredible building.
