50th birthday cake

Had an order for a friend's 50th birthday cake, and an invitation to her birthday party too, which was a junk trip.

I said I could make the cake but didn't think I could be on a boat all day in the heat.

Cake turned out well, but I could have done a better job on the quilting :(.

Friends Ev and Christin came to visit me today, which was lovely.
