The Story of a Cushion Cover

I originally started this 4 years ago. I managed to do about 1/8th of it but a combination of my health and not happy with the way the cross stitch was looking, so it just sat languishing on on it's frame until ...

5th April blip when I decided to rip all the stitches out and start again, this time only doing 1 leg of of the cross stitch instead (ho, ho, forward slash stitch, if you will, ho ho)

16th April Blip - about 1/3 competed

20th May Blip (my 400th blip) - less than 1/4 left to do

21st May Blip - what can I say, I like the chaos of the reverse side

1st June Blip - finally finished the actual design. I would have finished over a week ago but I need another skein of tapestry wool to finish about 2 dozen stitches - typical

Which brings us to today - a new cushion for my chair. Got to say, I'm quite pleased with it!
