High clouds.

Another beautiful warm sunny day.
I’m sitting in the summerhouse as I have a WhatsApp catchup shortly with some friends.
Hoping to translate that into a Socially distanced garden meet up probably sometime next week!
Just finished reading The Hawk and the Dove. A delightful book. I will begin the next in the series shortly. Thanks to Blipper Rainette for dropping them off here recently.
I’ve started another French novel and am now partway through that too.
I could have my head in a book all day!
After all the gardening I’ve been doing I decided to give myself a “day off” (not that I need much encouragement in this glorious weather).
We don’t travel out anywhere, like beauty spots, or other places where hoards of people seem to have been congregating lately, but are blessed in local walks and a lovely garden to simply be.
His nibs has a bike ride each day. He’ll certainly be in good health by the time it is possible to have his next operation, ( on hold because of Covid19), which will mean another 3 month recovery and no travel once again for several weeks.
In the meantime I am making the most of today.
And the most bizarre thing happened at lunchtime we had a Christmas card delivered which had somehow got lost in transit! Amazing! Postmarked 12th December! Photo in extras.
