Foxy!

We made an early visit to Whixall Moss this morning. It was looking beautiful with mist hanging over the land (extra).

We heard lots of birds singing and saw reed bunting (extra), stonechat and a pair of jays. We were walking along when suddenly this beautiful fox came towards us. It stopped in it's tracks when it spotted us then turned and ran away. Luckily I managed to get a photo before it disappeared.  It was carrying food (for cubs I imagine) which when enlarged looks like a grey squirrel.  What a thrill to see it!
