Calm

Today there's the heavy atmosphere of an impending summer storm. Gone are the brilliant blue skies of (most of) the past couple of months. Hence I got back to working during normal hours, popping out to photograph our ceanothus. I love this plant, and we had one when we lived in Edinburgh, where it seems to grow particularly well. Ours is in a frosty place, so some years it produces few flowers, but it's not doing badly this year.
