Eleven o'clock shadow

I have visited the Millennium Clock in Ardington for twenty years now.  I love the place but I have found it it difficult to capture in a photograph.  This is my latest attempt.

Went for a long morning walk in the morning; just as it was warming up, and came past the stones at eleven o'clock; just as the sun was shining down the relevant split monolith.
