LOCK DOWN – DAY 71

Went to the park at 8am this morning. It was ridiculously busy. Why? There were loads of joggers, cyclists and little people out playing. I stole a stick of a little person and made them cry. I got into big, big, trouble for that! The only reason we can think of, for the busyness is that a word?, is the fact that tomorrow the temperature is due to drop dramatically. Actually it would be nice if we got some rain because the burn isn't even deep enough for me to swim in these days. I just have to lie down and wallow when I want to cool down.

This afternoon I went on my walk to Ann's friend, Susi's. The humans were going to sit outside and drink a bottle of Prosecco, but we felt a few drops of rain on our walk there and once Ann had settled herself in Susi's hanging egg chair, it started to rain a bit harder. So Ann gulped down one glass of Prosecco and I went into the bushes and crunched up a snail we walked home again.

It's still mega hot on our balcony. But it's not even 5.30pm and it's gone so dark that we've had to put the lights on indoors. Think there could be a storm brewing?!

However, the weather during most of lock down has been absolutely fabulous. And seeing the sunshine has definitely helped to keep my human sane.
