Peonies

The first of my beautiful white peonies are coming out. I thought I'd catch a blip of them today in case the weather change of the next couple of days affects them. There is going to be a wonderful display this year with any luck. See extra.
Today started week, hot and bright for my walk this moribund, but clouded over around lunch time and has been threatening to rain every since. We managed to fit in our planned visit to the rectory between showers where we had socially distanced coffee and enjoyed a blether and catch up.
I've managed to get my steps done today by 5pm, 16, 400 so happy with that.
We're going to have a change of diet tonight and move away from sitting in the sun having salad and sit indoors and enjoy a sausage casserole!

Thank you for dropping into my journal, keep well and safe everybody. I'm finding that I'm feeling more uneasy this week than I have done for a long time. Last week we stayed in and so did everybody else. This week, there are too many imponderables, I feel much too dependent on everybody else obeying the rules. Please do that and keep us all safe.
