White Doves

These two have become regular visitors to our garden at around 4pm each day.  They pick up titbits from the bird feeders and then have a snooze followed by a canoodle on the sparrows' next boxes outside the kitchen window.  

White doves are symbolic of new beginnings, peace, fidelity, love, luck and prosperity. Their release is a tradition that has been making ceremonies, rituals and celebrations more powerful and meaningful for thousands of years. ... The symbol of the pure white dove transcends all cultures and traditions.  


I'm loving their visits and ever hopeful that the above comes to fruition.
