Cycle Ride

Day 71 of COVID-19 UK lockdown.

We cycled from Tongwynlais on the outskirts of Cardiff, South Wales to Penarth to visit my dad who was sat outside with a cold drink watching the world go by on another hot day.

After a good chat, we continued on our way over Cardiff Bay Barrage from where I took the blipfoto of The Pier Head Building and The Welsh Assembly Building next door. They own both. The gold roof building behind is The Millennium Centre which hosts music and other events. We continued on our way through Cardiff City Centre (eerily quiet) back along The Taff Trail where crowds of people were out enjoying the fine weather and cooling off in the Taff river. The forecast is rain tomorrow. That'll keep people in and farmers happy!
