Looking Up

..... things are .....

Plumber here early to start working on the bath having negotiated with local supplier that we can have a leg set and simply give them the one that will be sent to us .... eventually.  The installation will be complete tomorrow and he's repairing the leak he found in the brand new sink unit installed for the previous owners.   He's sure the shower tray installed for them at the same time, that he removed today, would also have leaked!  Tomorrow the electrician will make a pre-work visit in the expectation of starting here soon.   

We made good use of the last warm day for a while.  Meg had two beach/seafront walks.  In between I managed to sort the increasingly large pile of paperwork and post, plus I updated my address details with sundry organisations and we bought sundry bits from the local builders merchants including the paint for the feature wall in Jamie's room :-)

This Clematis viticella is the nicest of the survivors in the garden, even if it has attached itself to the last few feet of the washing line!
