Lockdown Day 72 - Scorpionfly

There were many scorpionflies, Panorpa communis, about during my afternoon walk. The one on the left is a pregnant gravid female and on the right is a male.

These were the best I managed though I was hoping to better show the male's scorpion-like genital appendage. Maybe another time.

NB They are harmless to humans.
