HOPE

This cross stands above Lake Junaluska, NC where we lived for 7 years from 1989 to 1996.  Lake Junaluska is home to the Southeastern (USA) jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.  It is about 30 miles west of Asheville, NC and about five minutes from my dermatologist's office.  I went there yesterday for a regular appointment concerned I might have a recurrence of melanoma, but fortunately, that was not true.  God continues bless me as a survivor having had my round with melanoma in 1987.  The cross is normally lighted at night, but burns continuously during the pandemic.
