“Dominate the Battlespace”

Maybe this peaceful scene will be the next US space our DIP President clears out with Blackhawk helicopters and Army military force to make a point.
 
I recoiled at images of Trump hoisting a Bible in front of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington after authorities fired rubber bullets, tear gas, and shock grenades to clear the president’s path of peaceful protesters gathered in a park.
 
The Right Rev. Mariann Budde, was seething. “I am the bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington and was not given even a courtesy call, that they would be clearing [the area] with tear gas so they could use one of our churches as a prop.” 
 
If only Trump opened the bible he held up for his ham-handed photo opportunity, he might have discovered it “declares that God is love.” But, everything Trump says and does is to inflame violence. When the history of the Trump presidency is written, the clash at peaceful Lafayette Square will be remembered as one of its defining moments.
