Getting Along

I've never before seen three bees seek sustenance so close together! I was close to them, too, but none of them seemed to mind my presence. 

The bee in the extra photo seems to be holding onto a columbine petal for dear life as she loads up on nectar. I know how she feels, as life in the United States seems to be fracturing more and more, quickly. These lines from William Butler Yeats "The Second Coming" sprang unbidden into my mind:

Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

A spring like none before it...
