Hanner Ffordd
Hanner Ffordd ~ Halfway
————— ————— ————— ————— ————— ————— —————
Mae e wedi bod misoedd ers i mi wedi rhedeg yn gyson, a nawr rydw i wedi dechrau eto. Roedden ni'n sâl am ychydig ar ôl Bhutan ym mis Hydref a pharhaodd e i'r flwyddyn newydd. Nawr rydw i'n teimlo fy mod i'n gallu rhedeg eto.
Rydw i'n hoffi rhedeg yn gynnar yn y bore - dydw i ddim yn gweld pobol eraill, wel, yn anaml. Rydw i'n rhedeg 5k dau ddiwrnod allan o dri, bob amser yr un llwybr.
Y tŷ hwn tua'r pwynt hanner ffordd. Mae'n dipyn o hanes yma, rydw i'n meddwl. Ar y wâl ydy enw'r ffordd 'Velindra Road'. Mae'n gamgymeriad, ond rydw i'n meddwl dyna sut roedd pobl yn credu y dylai sillafu'r enw. Nawr rydyn ni'n defnyddio 'Velindre' ond mae'n dal yn anghywir. Yn gywir mae'r enw 'Felindre' yn Gymraeg. 'Felin Dre', neu 'Mill Town'. Byddai melin wedi bod yn agos yma ar un adeg.
Felly mae tipyn o hanes gyda fy ymarfer corff ...

It's been months since I've run consistently, and now I've started again. We were ill for a while after Bhutan in October and it continued into the new year. Now I feel like I can run again.
I like to run early in the morning - I don't see other people, well, rarely. I run 5k two days out of three, always the same route.
This house at about the halfway point. There's a bit of history here, I think. On the wall is the name of the road'Velindra Road'. It's a mistake, but I think that's how people thought the name should be spelled. Now we use 'Velindre' but it's still wrong. Really the name is 'Felindre' in Welsh. 'Felin Dre', or 'Mill Town'. A mill would have been near here at one time.
So there is a bit of history with my exercise ...
