Day 21: The River Runs Again..

Day 21 of Alert Level 2. And there have been no further new COVID-19 cases for 12 days. Yay.... Getting to Level 1 may come about next week. Maisie and I started walking in the dark this morning. As the day dawned we saw that sections of the Taylor River, which have been dry for months, now have water flowing in them. (In actual fact, the water has always been there but has flowed under its shingle bed out of sight.) So from today I will have to cross the river via the Burleigh road bridge, making our walk a little longer.
