The Iris Has Fallen

I was back out on the golf course this morning, at our usual start time too so it was the earliest I’ve got out of bed in months! Maximum two players and everyone 10 minutes apart so no slow play, no delays and we zipped round in well under three hours. Wish it was always that quick. A bit strange to be out in the sunshine but not allotmenting. Good to catch up with Dave and have a good old moan about the state of Scottish football!
Heading home after a quick shop it started raining, when did that last happen? Too late for this poor iris, succumbed to heat and drought.
