Lake Rotoiti from a different angle

This is one of our favourite haunts and so today we decided to take my friend J up to show her the local sights!. As a retired geography teacher she is interested in the landscape of NZ and so after a 6km walk up the side of Lake Rotoiti, we took her up tot eh top of Mt Robert (where you can 'stand' on two fault lies.
Think we had a good day - was very warm walking again but worth the effort. Got some lovely shots of Rata, honeydew (sap from the beech) and some tit/robin shots. Check out here, if you want to see them.
