It is noticeably cooler this morning, having rained during the night.  Much needed rain too and the garden looks the better of it.

I took advantage of the cooler temperatures this morning to tackle the ironing which had begun to pile up.  It was just too warm to contemplate standing at an ironing board......

The HG has just done his mile walk this morning; it is great to see him being able to do that without breathlessness..... he will get back to club walking once he builds his fitness up again..... and of course when we are over the pandemic.  It is so good to see him looking so well once more.

The peony roses are flowering beautifully and I was delighted to notice the clematis is also looking good.  So grateful to have the garden for some outside space and some beauty too.

Had a short visit from Rhona this afternoon, along with Magnus.  It must be very hard with a wee one in this lockdown.
