Light

“There is a crack in everything.
That's how the light gets in.”

― Leonard Cohen, Selected Poems, 1956-1968

I was watching a morning cable news program today and the commercials that go along with viewing. Surprisingly, some of the commercial content has actually improved during the pandemic. One offered by a bank reminded me of Leonard Cohen's quote, a musical icon of mine, discovered by me in the early 70s.

This sunlit buttercup seemed to illustrate my hope for that crack this morning. America is shattered, but there are movements doing good with the cracks. The light WILL get in, it has to.

For the record,
This day came in sunny warm and with increasing humidity...sadly for me.

All hands wary
