Sure or Uncertain

We both know these feelings . The young greylag goose is striding out in  style between its parents ,... The mandarin duck ( see extra ) seems very uncertain .There are more of this species than ever but only one female ...No wonder the bird in question looks bewildered and is alone .Outnumbered and no family group his  appearance had me bewildered.
