An unexpected encounter

An already busy working day ended with a production issue at the hospital. I investigated this with a group of colleagues. Once solved, it was time for a nearly cold dinner. After that, another walk! A different one this time, taking me through part of the nearby forest. I realized I had seen some deer running into the forest quite some time ago and wondered if they were still there. Believe it or not, at that exact moment I suddenly looked right into the eyes of this one! Missing an antler it seems, but kind enough to stare at me for about a minute, allowing me to take a few images with my iPhone. Too bad I didn't have a proper camera on me, but it is as they say: the best camera is the one you have taken with you.
