A Walk in Wimpole
It was a day out for me (Annie) today, as I took the opportunity of the slightly relaxed lockdown rules and the National Trust properties opening their parks. I headed over to Wimpole Hall near Cambridge for a 2m separated walk with my stepmum. We'd not seen each other (other than on Zoom) for months, so it was refreshing and slightly strange. We managed to keep the 2m distance, and it was a lovely long walk around the grounds.
Despite growing up in Cambridge, I'd never actually been to Wimpole Hall before - so it was great to see it. I loved the folly on the hill, built to look like medieval castle ruins!
