Engrossed

The weather was really awful today.
Cold and wet.

I thought I'd go to our local oval and snap the cricket game in the mist, but alas, the oval was empty.

So continued on to Leura, where the mall was closed for the opening event of the Roaring 20s Festival.
This festival is going to extend over a month and across several towns.
There are more and more events of this kind, the idea being to lure tourists away from Bali and Fiji.
After all, why would you want to go to a tropical island when you could freeze in a Leura summer?

It's the second year of this event and the mall was full of people in 20s clobber.
Boas, cloches, braces etc.
All of them then proceeded to break the world record for the greatest number of costumed people dancing the Charleston.

I have photos of them but in the end preferred this solitary chap engrossed in listening to a choir.
