Interference Patterns
Today whilst in the garden escorting Dougal and Florence around the garden as well as taking pictures I photographed the ducks and unintentionally startled them slightly, so that they swam away fast as I was taking the pictures. This caused them to produced very marked wakes and as these V shaped wakes crossed each other, they produced ever more complex interference patterns, at first roughly diamond shapes and then further away little irregular dot patterns of interference. The grass growing through the water, together with the wind, makes these patterns differ from those which you might see in a text book.
This is being submitted on day two as part of Missymoo's challenge, which I will be dipping in and out of during February; this is my interpretation of patterns. I did not find the challenge until after I had blipped yesterday otherwise I might have blipped a fork instead of my crowd.
Whilst taking this and standing in the pond which is still very large, I noticed that my right Wellington boot now leaks; I feel another trip to Scotsdales coming on in order to purchase another pair.
Update: If you are still interested, I have received various suggestions for why my link did not work so hopefully this will. Click on this link which works for me and then click on the book cover, from there click on T189 - My final ten, which can be found on the right-hand side of the screen, this should take you to the set!!
