A View from a Gate

I think I must have a thing about Gates, because they seem to crop up fairly regularly in my photographic psyche.

Perhaps it's the idea of an entrance into something new?
A portal into the unknown?

Exactly what are those sheep up to?
They look like they are just grazing, but what if they are foreign breeds observing our grass with a view to a cyber attack?

And those Trees? Are they Special Branch?
