Queen Victoria

Queen Victoria stands on her lofty perch watching the traffic coming into Aberdeen from the inner ring road. Perhaps she has noticed some diminution in the volume of traffic passing by since the outer bypass was completed about a year ago. Or is it longer than a year, maybe she would know?

The temperature today has dropped further overnight. We are down to single figures centigrade. As I write I have just heard the heating come on. I was out early today for a stroll in case of rain. None so far, but it is very dark.
