Rain was welcome

The slugs which have been absent for a long time re-appear.
Had ‘phone call from manager of charity shop where I have volunteered for over 20 years asking if I was likely to return and outlining procedures. As I am over 80 I don’t really have a choice and I think there will be a huge decline in volunteers as most are mature ladies but younger than me.
