Muntjac
On 25th May I blipped a female muntjac. She has been barking in the woods close by for several days. Today she reappeared on the lawn with a gentleman friend. He has a distinctive black V-shape on his face and stubby beginnings of his antlers later in the year. You can see them together (rather blurry) in the extra. As soon as I had my shot, MrHCB chased them away.
Otherwise we waited in vain for rain all day - the sprinker is currently on the yew hedge. We had our Skype personal training session, then planted out the green beans, tied in the tomatoes that are growing about a foot a day, and cut back the montana clematis before it strangles everything around it.
