At Last

We often comment that it's like having hens in the garden except we get no eggs! We can have up to 8 pheasants in the garden at any time, clucking about. The males can be quite unperturbed by us going out to feed the birds and had started walking towards us, rather than running away like the females.

The man and I often try to tempt them to eat out of our hands. Today it happened. This one is lame, has been for a few weeks. Today he was very eager to take bird seen from The Man.

I grabbed the camera and got a shot!
