voicing a stand...

i got to thinking - about all which has - been happening right now - the senseless violence - looting, rioting and such - and decided i needed - to speak out - to voice my heart - as a christ follower - i do not believe - in violence ‘nor do - i believe in the recent acts - which incited them to - begin in the first place - i tend to follow - a lifestyle which believes - everyone is equal - and has a right to live - on this planet - abba created us all in his image - and expects us to treat one - another with dignity, respect - and to love each other

“you shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself...” leviticus 19:18 (esv)

likewise, he has given us - certain liberties in this lifetime - about how we are to value - each other and what we - are called for while here

“for you were called to freedom, brothers. only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” galatians 5:13 (esv)

both of these scriptural verses - are ones i try - very hard to live - up to every day - to love my fellow man - and serve him/her - to the best of my ability - i am appalled and ashamed - my fellow humans - are acting out the way they are - currently, but think it’s out of fear and utmost anger - i pray there will be - peace and healing throughout - the land and we will again see...
