Weather Vane
Today is a gloriously sunny day with bright blue skies and no clouds - but it is still bitterly cold. Having learned that the courier had delivered my parcel yesterday afternoon, to the wrong person, at the wrong house, nowhere near where I live, I knew there was no chance of getting it today. So, instead of waiting in, I went out looking for blips. One of my favourite places to go is down by the canal near Knowle, so I headed off in that direction. I never made it as far as the canal though as I spotted this lovely weather vane and beautiful glass lighting tower. The weather vane sits atop one of the outbuildings attached to Heronfield House. This is a 3 storey, grade 2 listed, red brick building near Solihull, which is itself worthy of a blip on another day.
