Flower Friday - Dandy Lion

Today has been a total disaster and I’m feeling exhausted and stressed.  The business next to us on the same floor had a faulty hot water system which blew up overnight and their place and part of ours was flooded, oh and it leaked through into the downstairs shops as well, monumental disaster!!! Aaarghhhh!!!  Of course we didnt know until we got to work this morning so that was off to a good start for a busy Friday!!

The insurance company has been fantastic and were on the case pretty quickly.  They have arranged people to come and dry out the all the carpet with big machines.  They also have a team of people coming to move all of the equipment in the flooded rooms out into another free space in our building which theyve rented for the purpose. The rooms will then be cleaned and new carpet laid if necessary and all the stuff will be brought back in and ahhh after all that things will eventually go back to normal!!  Needless to say Ive had enough and I’m going to go to bed to forget the world for a while! Tomorrow will be better I’m sure!!

Ive put a photo of part of the flood in extras! EEeeeeek!!  That is the current store room because weve run out of room everywhere else. Some of those boxes have very rare expensive stuff in them and are totally ruined!  We had started to put shelving in there and meant to get more but of course that got put on the back burner ages ago and unfortunately we never got back to it!!

At lunch time, I found the dandelion and snapped a quick shot, it was the nicest moment of the whole day! ;o). Catch up with you all over the weekend! x
