Shelter from the Storm

Another miserable day weather wise but having not ventured out yesterday we took advantage of lull between showers to explore the Black Spout Woods further coming across this rather elaborate den. 

Spent more time researching my East Lothian ancestors which took to me the Scottish Antenupital Records on Findmypast - a record of those brought before the Kirk for having "relations" before marriage. Grim reading in many respects as they seemed to indicate people being brought in multiple times before making an admission. 

My adventures in cake and bread making are continuing as I type. They at least smell good ... time will tell :-).
