Abstract Thursday ....

.... Silhouette.

Richard has some vacation time that he has to use up or else lose it .... so today he took off a partial day. We had planned to leave the house around 11:00 am but didn't get out until closer to 11:30 am.

Our first stop was at a local nursery to buy some more flowers ... we also got some cherry tomato plants!  Next R wanted to stop by his office as he had sent something to the printer there. Technology is so amazing sometimes!  You can send a print job from your house to the office and it's there waiting for you when you arrive! Crazy cool!

Now for the fun part of the day.  We drove over to the Trexler Nature Preserve to check out a walking trail that we've never been on before.  It was really nice as it went along the Jordon Creek.  We were able to make a large circle as the trail goes from the parking area to the ford over the creek and back down the other side of the creek.  We have driven over the ford many times but this was the first time we've walked across the water!  What fun ... see extra of Richard! I shot this Great Blue Heron just as he was taking off.  I processed as a silhouette as it was almost that anyway.

On the way home we stopped at another garden center and then continued on home.  All in all we had a great day!
