Wellie High: One street:17

What a day - the sun is shining, the wind has dropped, it's warm! I headed down to the river again for a one street contribution. No gushing torrent but sparkling, crystal clear and freezing water. The light was making some beautiful rippling patterns and I was spoiled for choice for a blip. The mottled tones of this one won out in the end. Yes, dear reader, I was wellie high in the water but I actually managed to walk across the old ford.

Other than that we have had a productive time in the garden. A compost bin was emptied and the contents put on a bed; storm damage was cleared and sadly two small trees have been uprooted. One we've cut back and hoiked back up and one we shall watch and see what happens. The first daffodil is fully out, as are quite a few crocuses.

Off out to supper at Annabel's and Klaus's later so a very pleasant saturday.
