A Trip To The Supermarket

This morning we decided to walk the long way to the supermarket, across the fields and via Sharpham ponds, where I took this blip. Despite the blustery wind, it was sheltered enough herefor some decent reflections.

A little further on we were enjoying watching the young deer running around at Sharpham Park farm when we noticed one that had obviously just been born: the mother was giving it a thorough clean with her tongue and then it made faltering attempts to stand up but first its back legs and the its front ones kept giving way; it was a real Bambi moment. Sadly, it was too far away for the camera phone to get a good shot but it was lovely to watch.
