Sunny Saturday

What a beautiful morning for a run - or so I thought...

When out on my "long" Saturday morning run (not long after this photo was taken) I wanted to avoid wading through an enormous puddle on the cycle path. I clambered up the muddy bank at the side of the path, but unfortunately missed my footing. I slipped, fell over, and slid straight into the water, landing on my bottom with a splash. My shoes, socks, trousers, and gloves were soaked through, and all thought of continuing along the planned route abandoned in favour of a hot bath back at home.
