Aquilegia.....

.... are popping up all over the garden this year. I'm not sure where they have come from but they are very welcome and a beautiful deep blue colour compared to the wish-washy punk ones that originally grew in the front border. Also blooming beautifully is a small species rhododendron which we planted three years ago, see extra.
