I Going, going, gone

I was rather pleased with this aquilegia. I love the rich colour and originally grew it alongside a pale green form called Little Green Apples. Both have self seeded themselves amiably about the garden. It was swaying badly in the gale and deluge this morning and by late afternoon it was no more.
