Another damp day

but managed to stay dry. Got my timing right for walking the pup and popping round to daughters. Rain was very heavy at times and we even had thunder, which took the pup by surprise.
Made shortbread for the daughter and popped them round to hers, quick chat across her gate. She is currently taking the carpet up in her front room. She has really got into DIY and decorating during lockdown. The poppies are in next doors garden, taken from an upstairs window. I had not realised that one of them is not actually a poppy until I loaded the photo.
Hetty has been so active this evening and not settled until about 9:30, have no idea why but she was running round and jumping up at me and just wanted to keep playing.
