A life in pictures...

A rose by any other name

First week done! On the whole, the children have been brilliant. Every teacher is absolutely shattered but thrilled that everything has worked out well.
We are now 36 days with no new cases and the island almost feels normal. As anyone who comes into the island has to self-isolate for 14 days, the tourist industry has taken a real hit. So, many hotels are offering staycations; they get some money and locals get the feel as if they’ve had a holiday. Sark is open to Bailiwick visitors and we will be able to visit Herm from next week. So we will still have a few lovely places to visit over the summer.
