Friday sky

The sky this morning was not at all promising and I was hoping that we should see more progress on the lateral lines. We had another half inch of rain in the night and things were pretty muddy. However, by about 9 o'clock the gang appeared and began digging again. The day improved and ended with a heat warning! 
Alison came by this afternoon and brought a very nice bouquet. Lovely to see her, and the flowers!
