Saturday Breakfasts

I had volunteered to run the bar at the Rowing Club this morning as holiday cover. However it was locked an the keys could not be found. It made me realise how central the bar is as a space for socialising and relaxing after a hard session. Luckily I'd made chocolate flapjacks so the junior rowers who'd done a run and ergs (the river is yet again red-flagged) got their post training snack.

Somewhere in between I sneaked off with a couple of other parents to get a hot cup of coffee on Cowley Road. Sadly Coco's with its tempting promise of a Full English Breakfast was closed, but it did look lovely in the early morning sunshine.
