Discovering beetroot hummus...

... and sand don't mix.
We took a picnic down to Paton's Rock. It was all a shimmer but quite busy: people and bouncy dogs, people on horses and people riding quad bikes. The picnic was good - one small person had olives, beetroot hummus, rice cakes, cucumber, dried apricots.
