Flower Friday

Awoke to sunshine, and thought it might be a better day than yesterday.  Community choir singalong (quite emotional this morning!) and then out into the garden to find a blip for Flower Friday.  Moment I set foot outside the door it started to rain!  The newly opened roses had sadly been rather battered by overnight wind and rain, but some were still intact and covered with raindrops.  I liked this blousy bloom, and thought it looked at its best without any background.  Intended walk abandoned due to on/off blustery winds and rain, so a paperwork day.
